Speech & Debate Club Sign Up

Speech & Debate Club 

Using the resources of the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association, students will cultivate the tools to think critically and clearly, through a Christian worldview, and then express cogently and persuasively on a variety of issues. This will include both speech and debate practices. 

We will consider reasonable tournament opportunities, so our students can present competitively against other students. Tournaments will incur additional fees. 

Club Sponsor:  Mrs. Wiseman
Club fees:  $400 payable to Tobi Wiseman (payable installments)
Grades:  6-8 (Speech only) 9-12 (Speech & Debate)
Meeting location:  6000 Building, Typing Room
Meeting day and time: Friday 3:00 - 4:00pm, may meet more often 2nd semester if preparing for a competition

Start Date: Friday, September 27, 2024.

A minimum of 6 students is required, with a maximum of 10 students.  Students must sign up by 9/18!
