Beginner's Chess Sign Up

Students enrolled in this beginner's club will learn the rules of chess, understand short-term strategy (piece values and basic checkmates), experience tournament play, and HAVE FUN! In addition, students will have exposure to chess trivia, be able to challenge the coach, and participate in team-building exercises to promote teamwork. 

*Class limit of 16 students

Grades:  3-12
Meeting location:  Building 4000, Room 6
Meeting day and time: Mondays, 3:00 - 4:00pm
