Head of School

Bobby Knowles

Bobby Knowles serves as Head of School with more than 30 years of experience in public education and a lifelong commitment to student success. Over the past 12 years, he has provided administrative leadership at both the elementary and middle school levels, focusing on academic excellence, school culture, and student development. Bobby earned his undergraduate degree in Education from Clemson University and later completed a master's degree in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership at William and Mary. He is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as both a teacher and a school administrator. Having called the Williamsburg area home for more than 30 years, Bobby values the strong relationships he has built within the local community. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, open communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Bobby and his wife, April, are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Madeline and Lily. Their family has enjoyed being an active part of the Williamsburg community for many years. Outside of school, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, and coaching swimming.

Assistant Head of School

Tobi Wiseman

Tobi Wiseman serves in the role of Assistant Head of School at Providence Classical School.  Mrs. Wiseman first found PCS as a parent in 2015 and was attracted to the deep intellectual and spiritual transformational riches of classical Christian education. After her daughter’s Kindergarten year at Providence, Mrs. Wiseman joined the school’s Board of Directors, serving the last three years of her 4-year term as Board President.  She then joined the school staff as both the Development Director and Pre-school Director for two years, followed by working as the Lower School Administrator for two years.  She is also a licensed attorney with 23 years of legal experience and has enjoyed teaching a Constitutional Law survey course with a classical Christian pedagogy to PCS Rhetoric students. She resides in Williamsburg with her husband and two children, both of whom attend Providence Classical School.

Director of Curriculum and Instruction

Laurin Hogan

As the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Laurin Hogan has 39 years of experience in education. She has served as a teacher, administrator, and school board member. Laurin has a deep passion for Christian education as she spent over half of her formative years being trained in Christian schools. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee and received a Master of Arts in Education from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Laurin taught at Hampton Christian School for several years after graduating from college and taught several years at The Geneva School, which is a classical, Christian school in Orlando, Florida. She educated both her children from kindergarten through high school, teaching continuously during those years many courses in various cooperative educational settings. She has served as Christian Education Director at the Peninsula Community Chapel and was on the founding board for Providence Classical School. Laurin has been a presenter at many international education conferences in several countries and has led many women’s events during her career. She and her husband live in Williamsburg. They have two adult children: Renee and Grace.  

College Advisor and Events

Tori Delaney

As the College Advisor and Events Coordinator, Tori Delaney has over 25 years of experience in the field of education. She graduated with a B.S. in English and Reading Education from Baylor University and a M.A. in Gifted Education with an emphasis in Educational Supervision from the College of William and Mary. Tori's teaching career spans grades three through twelve in both Wisconsin and Virginia. In addition to teaching, she has written curriculum units, conducted teacher in-services, and presented at national conferences. Tori came to Providence in 2010 to teach third grade. Since then, she has taught in the dialectic school and transitioned into an administrative role as the college counselor and events coordinator before becoming the Upper School Administrator for two years. Finding her true passion exists in the vocational discipleship arena of helping students merge their God-given talents with their future plans, she is returning to the college advising role. The classical model is how Tori always felt education should be practiced, and she continues to learn how to best train students to order their loves and understand what it means to be made in the image of God. Tori resides in Williamsburg with her husband, Dan, and her children Kylie and Dillon are both graduates of Providence.
