Every
year, Providence students take the Stanford Achievement test,
a week-long series of tests that gauges student performance in
many subject areas. Students at many public and private schools
take these tests.
The scores are measured in percentiles, with a score of 95 percent
meaning that PCS students scored better than 95 percent of the
students in the same grade across the country who took the test.
PCS
students consistently score in the top percentiles across the
nation.
