By the year 2023, Providence Classical School will be a fiscally sound, fully accredited, pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade school of 430 students from diverse backgrounds being educated by means of all three stages of the trivium: (grammar in grades K-5, dialectic in grades 6-8, and rhetoric in grades 9-12). The Providence philosophy and curriculum will be taught by classically trained, mature Christian educators. The Christian staff and leadership will be knowledgeable about and committed to the purpose of the school. Providence will enjoy a reputation for excellence in classical, Christian education. Our school will inspire a love for learning and a love for the Lord. Building upon fundamental facts, students will be challenged to analyze issues through rigorous critical thinking and express their conclusions logically and persuasively. Advanced coursework will develop the students' minds in the areas of theology, philosophy, culture and apologetics. All education will take place within a biblical framework that emphasizes truth and grace. Opportunities for praise and worship will be integrated into the educational programming. The result will be students for whom knowledge has been transformed into wisdom that is applied to the daily issues of their own lives and to the broader issues of the world. There will be a unique emphasis on languages at Providence with the introduction of Latin in the third grade and the introduction of modern languages no later than the ninth grade. Providence language offerings will include ancient and modern languages. The study of modern languages will enable interaction with the largest people groups in our culture and abroad. The school will have a single campus and facilities that are designed to support a physical fitness program and a full range of extracurricular activities including year-round sports for boys and girls, a comprehensive arts program, and other special interest clubs. The school will also include a well-equipped library and have up-to-date technology available to students, teachers, and staff to enhance all aspects of the learning experience. Providence students will be educated to serve the needs of their fellow man both in and outside of their community. They will participate in at least one community service project per year. The school will assist in funding travel for cross-cultural studies for students in grades 7 - 12 in the following regions: impoverished, rural, and inner city areas of the United States and selected regions of the world. Providence families will encounter the truth and grace of Christ according to God's provident work in their lives as He reveals Himself in our midst. The success of the school will be evident in a contagious atmosphere of purpose-driven joy. The facility, faculty, staff, curriculum and activities at the school will ultimately serve the supreme purpose of glorifying God.
